They are as different as Anil Kapoor and Anupam
Anees Bazmee was to release Mubarakan today, long before Indu Sarkar picked a
date. They are a political thriller. â€Not that Anees is fretting over the
competition. There has to be a conflict of interest. We should ensure that we
work amicably in sorting out the release clashes.

content, whereas we’ve a terrific plotline as well as a multi-star lineup. Don’t
release two similar films. I remember David Dhawan’s two films Deewana Mastana
and Mr & Mrs Khiladi were released on the same Friday. We can’t do that
anymore. Releasing Mubarakan and Indu Sarkar on the same Friday is fine. We had
announced our date three months in advance.Regarding two or more films coming
together, Anees says such clashes are inevitable. Hence I presume it would be
intense storyline. The other film kept shifting its time of release to finally
land opposite us. "Mubarakan and Indu Sarkar are completely different
experiences, as far as I can see. So when and how did the clash happen?Says
Anees, "You will have to ask Madhur Bhandarkar that. Who makes multi-starrers in
this day and age? It takes a lot of guts. So when and how did the clash happen?
